Honey Festival

The Honey Festival is the staple attraction of the town Dudt Ronnts which is known for its beekeeping although the festival is celebrated throughout Bridt Sche and is often celebrated near the start of summer and end of spring.   The festival was made special by its homely approach to celebrations. The festival is celebrated mostly at home with the family gathered together to eat Sweet Cakes made from the extract. These cakes are also believed to have some magical properties, but no Alchemist has yet to confirm this. The cakes are a sort of blessing for the family. The blessing is to have a sweet and fulfilling year. The Honey Festival is a favorite of children because of all of the sweet foods.   Even though the festival is mostly celebrated at home it does bring the community together as well. The communities celebrate the occasion with bake-offs and potluck lunches. Everyone gets to try the food that their neighbors make and the community grows closer together. The tables are decorated with flowers and every single person who is looking for a partner will hit the dance floor.

Execution

During the day the festival is like a picnic. People go out and share the Sweet Cakes that they made with each other. The young people will dance around a flower-wrapped pole. As it gets darker the families will go back to their homes and have a private meal. The dinner has a lot of hearty and sweet foods. Symbolizing the harshness of life and the treasures of the simplest moments. It's a reminder that life must be celebrated.

Observance

The festival is celebrated in spring. The festival also looks a little bit like a May Day celebration, but with the main focus on honey and not flowers.
