Castellan, Archers (Saggitas)

This long range form of the Castellan is most commonly called a Saggitas, to distinguish it from the infantry Castellan. Lighlty armored and not expected to be in melee range, the Saggitas traditionally provides covering fire for the advancing infantry. While dismissed as unnecessary by some, a wise Legate usually ensures that there are at least one or two Saggitas in his Dominus.
