Structure

Underneath the Gloomshields is a Parliment of nobles that runs the day-to-day business of the kingdom. As a part of and in conjunction with this parliment are ten orders.
Order of the Moon. Members of this order answer directly to the royal family and act as a combination of intelligence, espionage, and secret police agency. In this aspect they are known as the Goobshire.
Order of the Holy Chalice. Formerly an order of knights that served the temples, it has degraded into a drinking club for young nobles.
Order of the Sun. The city guards and primary defenders of Ahm. In recent years they've garnered a reputation for corruption and extortion.
Order of the Rose. Formerly an order of special operatives, it has recently transitioned to an army of Archetypes and their researchers.
Order of the Tree. An order of veteran knights who are responsible for training the next generation.
Order of the Weave. A group of arcane researchers led by the current court mage.
Order of the Scales. The justices and judges of the land, although they'v e become the ministry of truth.
Order of the Cloud. A group of warriors that specialize in combatting non-human evil foes. They typically fight on horseback and make use of polearms
Order of the Stars. Ahm's army.
Order of the Crown. The parliment and other administrative members of the government. All generals and heads of the other orders are also members of the Order of the Crown.

Each of these organizations the follow the same general order of ranking and progression:

1. Conscript- recruits
2. Squires- probabationary
3. Knight-Errant- a full member of the order, but not leading large groups yet
4. Knight
5. Master Knight
6. Knight-Lieutenant- has different subranks within it; i.e. knight-lieutenant I, knight-lieutenet II
7. Knight-General

History

A recent coup that desposed of the Pendragons and put the Gloomshields in charge has made this country more authoritian. Marün was the home to Briah.

Ahm has recently acquired a large amount of archetypes from another dimension. They also had an alliance or way to control Terminus the King an elder black dragon before he was killed. There are also reports of them having some kind of access to a 50-foot giant, deployed in Chult, and a Cubic Gate.

Foreign Relations

Ahm is not in the Council of Kingdoms, nor is it allied with it.

Ahm provided to weapons to Kashanov for his take over of Tundra's Shroud. They also provided scrolls and weaponry to the Drow Rebellion, led by Zacan, in Mith Dranor .

Preparing to invade Cormyr those absolute motherfuckers. Supported the Drow Rebellion to gain access to Mithril mined in Myth Dranor.

Has invaded Candyland, according to the Kool-Aid man.

Ahm has recently taken over Chult via killing the seven merchant princes. They caused massive infrastructure damage but very little loss of civilian life and have since both physically and psionically blockaded the country, preventing word from leaking out.
