Thrunnwood Forrest

Thrunwood, or more precisely Thunwood Forrest is an old patch of woodland with hits fair share of stories. Supposedly an overflow from the forests of the Feywild, Thurnwood has long been home to many magical creatures. However, over time civilization has encroached its way upon its lands. At first just a simply longing community but with time a bustling town of tree felling workers. It is only natural that a community would seat to defend its own and protect it, inhabitants, from dangers. And so, the creatures of the woodlands fell one by one, starting with their most dangerous and eventually falling to the simple thought of as mere nesciences. Now its inhabitants are mostly animals and a few none threatening creatures. Unfortunately, all of this violence has left the place with a great many revenants ready to stalk its lands at night.   In the end, the efforts to tame the Thrunwood has led to it be more dangerous than it was before. Where monsters lay ready to stalk the land for sustenance, their instead are the harder to "kill" facsimiles of walking bones and ill spirits looking not for food but for violence.
