Niss by the Sea

Originally a small fishing village built around a large shipwreck. Niss has found itself forced to grow to accommodate the larger trading vessels that too large to make their way upriver to the capital. It now finds its industry largely supplanted by harbours and warehouses. With much of its population now being workers in those same industries.

History

The name Niss comes from the Old Hezmian word for a shipwreck.

Tourism

The village does get a small amount of tourism from sea-bound travellers. But it is largely unsuited to support these guests with the exception of a handful of Taverns and Inns that moonlight as entertainment venues.
