Iron Dragon
As a nightmare made real, the Iron Dragon slides through the night, left unseen to all who would seek them. Under that cover of darkness, they hunt for victims. For an Iron Dragon craves not for the lure of gold, nor dominance over lesser beings. It seeks to twist the world above it and all who sleep inside it. And make form of what terrible preference it holds for those who coss it's path.
They live long and solitary lives watching time take passage over the world above them. They grow restless with form and seak to bring is opposite wherever possible. A garden meadow should be a towering city in their eyes, whereas the town that grows there would serve better an open ruin.
Though form is mutable, it is rarely to them in any magical sense. They would carve up the world rather than shape it. Heavy rain perpetuates their lands and vines grow thickly across its walls. Stone is hemmed with hard corners and carvings line it's shadows.

Growth Rate & Stages
As a young dragon, Iron Dragons tend to be messy, rash and easily caught. Gaining experience in murder and subterfuge as they grow older, becoming nearly impossible to catch by the time they meet maturity.
Ecology and Habitats
Iron dragons live deep below civilization where ever possible, seeking out towns and cities to terrorizes intimately.
Dietary Needs and Habits
When not tormenting its victims the Iron Dragon will eat vast amounts of cooked meat with little to no care of where it comes from. Ironically the esulting vacuum of livestock often leading to their discovery, sowing something far more ominous must be at work than a simple humanoid killer.

Common Customs, Traditions and Rituals
Iron Dragons are meticulous and spend a great deal of time planning out their next kill. There are few more immaculate crime seance than the sight of an Iron Dragon Snatching. Unless rumbled they will ensure that everything is put back into place and to remove where possible anything that would draw attention to the area.
Common Taboos
The most disgusting thing to an Iron dragon is not weakness or lack of wealth, like many of its darker kin. But the taking of another dragon kill.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Nearly none existent, most being would rather jump into the arms of a Kraken than be subject to the machinations of such a creature. With even the vast majority of Chromatic Dragon finding their methods distasteful or unnecessarily cruel at best.
Iron Dragons will most often clash with Lead Dragon who share their love for tormenting urban aeras, albeit in a diffrent flavor.
