Watsurara-dōnyo (若氷童女)

Summary
A pale Blue Oni associated with the Hannya Sūhai. Watsurara-dōnyo is physically unimpressive for a member of her race, but is respected for her mastery of ki techniques. By harnessing her own innate life energy, she is able to manipulate elemental ice to produce a variety of weapons and effects. As if to match this affinity for cold, Watsurara normally bears a stark, icy countenance. One would be forgiven for thinking her an emotionless, aloof sort of person. Like the legendary Hannya mask, however, this is a façade. When she does experience a strong emotion, Watsurara's icy mask shatters and she becomes uncommonly warm and expressive for a time. Only when the moment has passed does the "mask" slide back into place and her resting aloofness reasserts itself. Perhaps it is for this reason that Watsurara-dōnyo is not expected to wear a Hannya Vizard even when within the sacred Sūhai Sanctum. She seems to hold some position of respect within the organization. Such details remain a mystery even to Fubuki, however, who gained access to the monastery for a time and dueled Watsurara-dōnyo in their training grounds.
