Summary
The husband of Tachibana Ginchiyo, who took her name rather than the opposite and now serves as her closest adviser, military commander, and lover. Tachibana Muneshige has a sterling reputation for honor and kindness. It's said that he has never drawn his sword in anger, nor has he ever struck an opponent who was not actively trying to harm him first. This code of honor transcends what is normally expected of a samurai, and Muneshige has modeled his battle gear after a Western knight, of whose chivalry and nobility in battle he has heard many tales. Though the man surely has some flaws, as do all humans, he hides them well. To the public, Muneshige is a great force for good, and a key foil to his wife, whose hot temper sometimes gets away from her. Despite their disparate natures, the two do seem to truly be in love, and many another Daimyō has looked upon their relationship with envy.Physical Description
