Mary Lyn, Far from Home
High Court Wizard Mary Lyn once served as the right hand and adviser to King Arthur. When Mordred shattered the Knights of the Siege Perilous, however, Morgan le Fay exiled its members throughout the cosmos by a trick of fell magic. Mary was among these, no doubt because the cunning Morgan knew she could not fight the court wizard on equal terms. Somehow, after reeling through the Dreamlands, Mary Lyn came to rest somewhere in Japan. It was fortunate for her that she happened to land close to a scuffle involving the Hashinara Clan who, after a few minor misunderstandings, took Mary on as a temporary general. Ryūzaki Sanosuke in particular, enchanted by Mary's abundant charms, has been of key help in adapting to her new locale.
However, the great wizard has no intention of remaining in Japan for any longer than is necessary. Back in Albion, the Pendragon Rebellion, led by her good friend Caius Pendragon, is still fighting against Mordred's new kingdom, and they need her help.
Most recently, with the aid of sorcerors from across the world, Mary Lyn succeeded in creating the Mugen Gauntlet, a powerful magical device capable of transferring its user to any place in the world with a simple snap. This is no doubt her way back to Albion, but there is yet reason to remain. The more forces from the Hashinara Clan she can persuade to come with her, the more aid she can bring to bear for the struggling Rebellion.
