Summary
A seaworthy Black Galleon imbued with a soul by Hashinara Yoshitakatomo. In a sense, Hashinara Kurayume joins the Daimyō's many other children as a daughter of the Hashinara Clan. Although incapable of speech and able to move only in very limited ways, Kurayume possesses a powerful soul and a distinct sense of sapience. There's something about the shape of her hull and the way she rocks in the water, now, that makes it difficult to compare her to other vessels of the same build. Due to the limitations of her form, Hashinara Kurayume most often acts through Kurayume, a sheele formed from a portion of her soul. Because her creator imbued her with the memories of the vessel's previous crew, both instances of Kurayume are effectively an amalgam of several exotic intelligences. These include Men of Leng and possibly a Moonbeast. Along with these memories, Yoshitakatomo was careful to weave in an unwavering loyalty to the Hashinara Clan. As a result, Kurayume's intelligence is alien and fractured, but her dedication to the clan cannot be questioned.
