Asaldine
Asaldine, the Queen of Truth, Mercy and Healing. She was once the lover of Iliaern, and remains the sister of Farasta. Two thousand years ago, she sacrificed her ability to manifest in a physical form in her efforts to stop the Calculix from destroying the gods, and thereafter the world. Before that, she was said to be as beautiful as her sister, but as different to her as chalk and cheese. Where Farasta favoured the ornate costumes of the gods, Asaldine preferred simple robes. She was a god who truly loved the mortals that worshipped her, and she favoured them with her mercy and healing.
It was only after her first death, that she became the goddess of Truth. It is said that after she saw how Iliaern had used her to avoid his prophesised death, her eyes were opened to the truth of their love. Without physical form, she can pierce almost all illusions and can find the hidden secrets of the universe. Her clerics, as a result, are often called upon to be truthful at all times – except where it might interfere with their missions of mercy.
