Stinking Swamps

The Stinking swamps lies in the north of Green earth. It is located above Calames Jungle on the western coast. The swamp forms a dense morass of stinking mud pits, stinging insects, and sinking muck traps, impeding travel and creating a home for horizonback tortoises and bluff harpies. In addition to those monsters, it is also known to be home of various Lizardfolk tribes, and even of a few wandering Goblin tribes.
The swamp offers a large variety of environment, as the lush vegetation blend in to form the jungle at the south, or slowly freeze to turn into the cold tundra at the north.

Features

Insect Swarm. A cloud of swarming insects fills a 20-foot-radius sphere. The swarm moves at 20 feet on each round. When a creature enters the cloud, it must make a DC 10 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, it takes 1d10 piercing damage, or half as much damage on a successful one. A creature that ends its turn in the cloud must roll another saving throw. A creature cannot be damaged by the insect swarm if it’s wielding a torch or if it is at least 5 feet from a fire.
Swamp gas (Dancing lights). The gas trapped under the mud can sometimes be released in a sudden burst that self ignites in the air, creating short-lived bright flames of various colors and shapes.
Toxis gas (cloudkill or stinking cloud). The gas trapped under the mud can sometimes be released in a sudden burst, when it doesn't self ignite, adventurers should quickly dodge away as those gas are most likely dangerous if they're not flammable.
Toxic Eruption (acid splash). The rotting corpses and vegetation can sometimes form a slimy and thick liquid or dark color with acidic properties, this liquid trapped under the mud or under the water can be unfortunately released by visitors stepping on the wrong path, welcoming them with a burst of acid slime.
