Calames Jungle

The Calames Jungle is vast, leafy expanse of jungle stretching on the northern part of Green earth. The name comes from a deformation of the word calamity, the human population used to call this jungle the jungle of calamities.  

Description

The Calames Jungle is a dense, dangerous jungle. In addition to typical jungle birds, insects, and wildlife, it is home to carnivorous plants and dangerous creatures, as well as isolated communities of Yuan-ti and tortlle people. Among the many dangerous creature dwelling in the jungle, the dinosaur romaing those woods are probably the most famous.   The canopy of jungle is exceptionally thick, and the paths covered in various vines. The trees are reminiscent of banyan trees, and there are many colorful flowers, some of which may be poisonous. In places there is a smell of decaying citrus fruits and other rot, and unusually colored fungus can be found on some of the tree trunks.
  The Yuan-ti capital of Orrinshire is hidden among the thick jungle, and many legend of hidden artifact and buried tomb surround the region.  

Features

Razorvine. Razorvine is a plant that grows in wild tangles and hedges, growing along the jungle trees trunk. A 10-foot-high, 10-foot-wide, 5-foot-thick wall or hedge of razorvine has AC 11, 25 hit points, and immunity to bludgeoning, piercing, and psychic damage. When a creature comes into direct contact with razorvine for the first time on a turn, the creature must succeed on a DC 10 Dexterity saving throw or take 5 (1d10) slashing damage from the razorvine’s bladelike thorns.  

Hazard

After the civil war in Chezucore in 1136 AD, many undead were left unchecked in the jungles, from ankylosaurus zombies to dinosaur skeletons.
