Orrinshire

Orrinshire refers to the urban center of the Calames Jungle. The city is built around a massive pyramid, that serve as a temple to the Yuan-ti god, Sseth.

Geography

The city is lost in the middle of the jungle, and difficult to access if you are not used to traveling in Calames Jungle. as you approach the city, it is surrounded by ravines, waterfall running from the temple to sink in the ravines. the limited access provided by the wooden suspended bridge allows for an easy way to defend the city, especially as a siege is hard to achieve with the jungle wildlife killing those that would want to make something like that.

Description

Orrinshire is one of the biggest cities in Green Earth, in the middle of Calames Jungle, this city is home to the yuan-ti. The city activities are centered around the huge temple dedicated to their god (and with a dungeon underneath). The Temple behind which is the main market of the city, then smalls and humble stone houses make for most people habitation. The city lives thanks to its trading, from dinosaurs sold on the black market, to the rare gem the yuan-ti extract from the jungle, the environment is rich in resources but extremely dangerous.

Pyramid

The pyramid of Orrinshire is the royal palace of the Yuan-ti, forming the core of area of the city. The pyramid is capped by the Great Seal and the Golden Throne.
The Great Seal is the upper part of the pyramid of Orrinshire, The high priestress' palace. The Golden Throne of Orrinshire, was the throne room of high priestress. It is the highest point of the city, located right above the Great Seal. The ruler's closest bodyguards are stationed here.
Underneath the pyramid lie a dungeon, it is said to hold powerful magic items that only the wisest and bravest would be able to access.
