Goals
The knights and winged heroes from the order of griffin aim to protect the people of Toriel and foster a community of peace and harmony. The order prefers to prevent wrongdoing first and foremost, even at the expense of certain liberties. The order of the griffin can act as a benevolent proactive force that keeps evildoers in check, but it can also act as an oppressive force that stifles freedom and expression.
The vast majority of the order's members possess the abilty to fly one way or another, the winged knights serving Bahamut.

Hierarchy
The Order of the Griffin is led by the Celestant-Prime, the archangel of Bahamut. As the highest authority within the legion, the Celestant-Prime directs their actions according to Bahamut’s principles, ensuring ideals of justice.
History
The order of the griffin used to be an order of retired knights from the
Orrin Empire, elite among the warriors of the empire who embarked on a journey for justice.
However, like everything else the
Great Extinction wiped out the order.
A group of independent knights, following the tenets of Bahamut, rediscovered ruins of the
Griffin Spire with traces of that ancient order and decided to revive it. They started to be known once again as the Order of the Griffin, and more knights joined their ranks. Although they are knights of Bahamut, they have also embraced the name by incorporating elements associated with griffins, such as riding griffins.
