"When facing adversity, some choose to flee, some choose to stand strong, and some try to cheat, But, they are mountains we cannot climb, rivers we cannot cross... Those who are used to cheating will soon face those, and death is the strongest of those obstacles.

Trial of the Adventurers

In the spring of 1134 AD, a group of diplomate came to Oakhearth, capital of the Lightfoot Kingdom, in order to discuss the term of the partnership between the Lightfoot Kingdom and Tana's Empire to gather support against the growing threat of the Green Earth. The diplomatic mission, in an attempt to display the empire's might, was escorted by famous adventurers.
The adventurer, playing an active role in the negotiation, uncovered a dark monster hidden deep beneath the city. A beholder was spreading its influence over the great council, controlling Alton Goodbarrel, another important member of this council. As the adventurer's quest progressed, they befriended Nessarya Jenssen, but this growing friendship was a fatal error, as she was pulled into this macabre plot. Killed when she investigated too much, the adventurers discovered her dead body after defeating the beholder. Pursuing the assassin, part of their time rushed to try and bring Nessarya Jenssen back from the dead. Sadly, her death was too old for a simple revivify spell.
Betting on a certain scientist skill, they brought her body to Emilis, a mad scientist working on creating life without magic. Her experience so far always failed, but hoping for the god's mercy, the adventurers gave everything they had to try and save her. The experience turned the house into a fire hazard, blasting everyone away, and killing innocents, but despite the lost life, Nessarya Jenssen was brought back to life. Glad for the adventurer choice, as she was raised from the dead, but saddened that so many had to die and suffer for her to come back.
With Nessarya Jenssen, started one of the most important trial in the nation's history, the trial of the adventurers. They were judged for their actions and were trying to bring to cultrip of conspiracy down. The trial was overseen by queen Tulia Greyhard herself and ended up with both adventurers, and implicated council members banned from the country. Nessarya Jenssen, as her previous death had proven her innocence, was able to keep her position as head of justice among the great council. And is to this stay, still thankful for the adventurers' actions.
