Irina Stormcry, Is the new queen under the city in
Holypertuis. Entrusted with this role after the death of her adoptive father,
Akhator Baltazar. Irina's life is a succession of unlikely events.
History
Child of Flo stormcry and
Stella Jamedottir, her parents were outcasts, living a happy life in the lush forests, building themself a shelter as Stella gave birth to Irina. Sadly, her mother died months after the birth due to an unknown illness.
Flo then raised Irina alone, teaching her all he knew, preparing her for life as best as he could. But, on Irina's 11th birthday, Flo took her hunting near the Crystal Lake, intending to give her more freedom. However, they encountered poachers who had captured dinosaurs for entertainment in the The Crimson Colosseum. In the chaos, Flo sacrificed himself to lure the dinosaurs away from Irina, urging her to flee.
Irina quickly disappeared through the vegetation, the thorny bush slashing her skin, and out of breath, she was still running, as her father's last words were to run, to run as much as she could, to run until she couldn't stand up anymore. So she did.
She was found later by another group of outlaws, the shock of what she had just lived traumatizing the young girl, she was now amnesic. Siding with those new people for a while, she ended up in
Holypertuis' undercity, were she started to try and live on her own. In this place of criminality, the little girl was instinctively putting to good use what her father once told her.
As she grew up, her skill were recognized by all, and the king under the city himself,
Akhator Baltazar took notice of the child. He grew to love her as a father, and adopted her, giving her a new place to call home.
But as her adoptive father grew older, he was changing, something about him was off, and when a group of adventurers came, they started to investigate her adoptive father. Amon those adventurers, was her father, Flo stormcry. But, with her amnesia, she couldn't recognize him, and after all those years, he couldn't either.
But, the adventurers discovered her adoptive father was becoming a lich, and, she sided with them to fight him off. The group managed to defeat the lich, but
Sharla Scarletdottir died as she protected the group from Baltazar's final spell.
Flo tried to help Irina, who was shocked by her father's death, revealing that Baltazar was only her adoptive father. This made Flo realize that Irina is her daughter, kidnapped years ago. He had lost hope of finding her, yet here they are: reunited.
Now reunited with her lost father, Irina refused to escape with her father to his lands in the
Roaring plains, arguing that as the apprentice of Baltazar, she had a duty to protect and lead the Undercity.
Flo sold his lands in the Roaring Plains and decided to live in Holypertuis, where he dedicated himself to his daughter, who had already grown up to be a young woman in Flo's absence. The two often clashed, as Irina had trouble accepting Flo as a fatherly figure.
