Facing the Doatanne town square, directly across from the town hall is a splendid inn and tavern called the Slumbering Sapphire. Known for its luxurious beds and full service staff, the Sapphire is a perfect fit for the most distinguished traveler. Several members of the Council of Seven, Ruling body of Doat Proper keep a permanent room on hold for them. The inn itself has four floors, with the first floor being the main entrance and tavern area. The second floor has ten rooms, and the third floor has four penthouse suites. The rooftop has an outside bar with live music. While it is owned by gnome couple Aaron and Noni Borden , the inn provides dividend income to each registered citizen over the age of 18.
