Aaron and Noni Borden, Gnomish Innkeepers

Aaron and Noni Borden are a middle-aged gnomish couple that have made their life in the inn they own and operate, the Slumbering Sapphire, Inn/Tavern. Named for Noni's blue hair, they are warm and welcoming to travelers and quick to chat about rumors from the road. Aaron had dreams of adventuring, but Noni caught his eye before he could work up the gumption to make it out of Doatanne. Neither of them coming from big family money, they built the Slumbering Sapphire with a huge loan from the city council of Doatanne. They pay monthly dividends to the citizens of Doatanne equal to 65% of their monthly income.
