How on earth the Crown finds these people is beyond me.Vorim Kalesdan Kailkomaazije Malweláyoije, more commonly known as Vorim Kakaimal, is a Telziado mage in the employ of Crown Larusion of Telziad. He has both Human and Elf heritage, and spent many years studying magic in the elf republic of Waal Zaimyatl.
History
Vorim was born in New Fovenis in 388 AC as the newest member of the prosperous Kalesdan family. While not nobility, they ensured a comfortable upbringing for Vorim and his three older siblings, and they were all well educated. The family made regular trips to see his maternal grandmother in Waal Paisheim, and he took to learning Zangsayoi Elven with greater vigour than most of his siblings. When he graduated from a Telziado high school in 406 he applied for a place at the famous Welákei Maazikee Soutachol and moved in with his maternal family while studying. His time at the Academy was uneventful, and he graduated as a perfectly competent fire mage in 410. He found regular employment at a local smithy, though he was never physically strong enough to graduate above assistant. In 413, Vorim's life was turned upside down by the murder of his older sister Mayin, who had moved to Waal Zaimyatl a few years prior to become a secretary for a local politician. Her murder became a local scandal after the police seemed to stop their investigation after only a few days and refused to comment on proceedings. Further scandal was sparked when a local medium, Támjol Eliodan, publicly accused a member of the Waal Zaimyalkee parliament of orchestrating her murder and presented evidence to that effect. Vorim and his family heaped pressure on the police to follow up on Támjol's claim, and the politician was found guilty at a highly publicised trial the following year. Inspired by Támjol's actions, Vorim returned to the Academy part time to learn how to become a medium, specialising in helping the restless spirits of the dead find closure. He performed his duty for many mourning families, and was consulted by the local police on more than one occasion to channel the words of the deceased. In 418 Támjol returned to Waal Zaimyatl on behalf of the Telziado monarch, Crown Larusion. While in town the two caught up and made plans to keep in touch, with the Kalesdan home always being open to Támjol and Támjol willing to pay for their stay in Sinofis if they came to visit. Vorim took advantage of this offer on multiple occasions, and the two became very close. As a result, in 422 Vorim moved to Sinofis permanently and took up work in the court of Crown Larusion, and the two began dating officially.Mental characteristics
