Lune

Located in the middle of the Vieroyss Woods on the banks of the Letia River, north of Ythal .

Demographics

Mainly Mericus lycanthropes, a few Caninus werewolves.

Government

Ruled by a council of Alphas. Every law is hotly debated, and often these debates end in physical fights. The council has a hard time agreeing to anything, since their natural inclination as Alphas is to have their decision be absolute.

Defences

The boundries of Lune are delineated by a massive magically enhanced wooden wall. Guards patrol the top day and night, and there is only two gates in and out of the city.

Industry & Trade

Since the Lunites are all lycanthropes, they tend not to trade with any settlements. They craft everything they need themselves, hunt and farm their own food.

History

Lune was founded after Septentrionalis was reopened. A group of Mericus lycanthropes, sick and tired of the opression elsewhere, wanted a quiet place to live and conduct their rituals. Deep in the middle of a forest sounded like the perfect place, at first. Not long after Lune was established, raids by local human loggers started. The Mericus tried to stay peaceful, but a recently converted Canunis who had not quite finished all the rituals attacked and turned a teenage boy from Ythal. Nothing would placate the humans after that, even after the Arch of Ignus himself interviened. After the Hunters were established, the raids stopped, but that didn't decrease the need for an armed guard around Lune.

Architecture

The lycanthropes that live here do not believe in material wealth. Their huts are usually no more than three rooms big, depending on the size of the family that lives there.
