The Soul Arm Crisis

Is it such a wonder that people still wander about the value of a soul?

Soul Arms are the fundamental centrepoint of Thysian society, a manifestation of a 'sentient' creature's soul that takes the form of a powerful weapon, artefact or item that is capable of slaying a divine... a gift from The Material Deity before his horrific death. For millenia soul arms have been immutable and a key reflector of a mortal's very being and identity... but, the party, during the very beginning of their adventures came across other survivor's of the Shipwreck of The Avem Natandi, two of whom (Quartermaster Sulimane and Defence Officer Raven-Woven) were both seen psychologically broken and with their soul arms rusted as though they had died... they were still alive to the shock of the party. Captain Abigail Hawk revealed that she watched Raven-Woven get slammed into the side of the ship by two creatures she didn't recognise and when they whispered something to her she started screaming in pain as her soul arm rusted away. The party have only just begun to delve into this mystery...

Plot points/Scenes

The party begin their time on the beaches of Epizonia where they were shipwrecked, they saw dozens of rusted items and also found a group of survivors including two members with their soul arms destroyed.
The party also know there were a group of saboteurs aboard the Avem Natandi and Haven had a near death experience at the hands of a pair of silent assassins.
