The Materials Children are a religious order founded roughly 600 years ago on the belief that the world have placed too much comfort and convenience around Soul Arms rather than treating them as powerful god-slaying tools, effectively spurning the gifts they were given before, over a more meaningful belief system and so they should instead work on worshipping the one who sacrificed themselves to create Soul Arms and magic, the Material Deity.
For enough faith in the Material Deity has a chance of resurrecting him to allow that god to love his creations, or punish them for their hubris.
Generally, the Material's Children have a fairly strong following and notably do well in the south of Razdelin where the people have adopted non-Soul Arm mindsets and so are more willing to the listen to the words of a group that preach of not requiring them.
The Material's Children are a deep-running group with many factions involved, though they all agree that the return of the Material Deity should be prioritised. 
However, other factions within the Material's children have been left sickened by groups attempting to draw power from and return to Thysia gods that were sundered before and a high ranking member of this group has recently learned of a method to rip power from soul arms and transfer them to others... using this to punish the very souls of others and reward those for their loyalty to the Material Children.
