Beauty seems to simply radiate from Rouge Sables, from the people to the paints to the minerals of the ground itself, it is a beautiful land... it's a shame they know it.

• A traveler reflects on the Epizonia  town of Rouge Sables.

Rouge Sable is an older town in Epizonia and a barony owned by Millicent Commonbrook, the baroness of the town. The town is famous and wealthy due to it's seemingly infinite supplies of red glamour, which has drawn it wealth and acclaim.
This has also fed into the reputation of Rouge Sable being a town filled with the exceptionally beautiful and artistic, unsurprisingly, they feed into the wider barony's of Epizonia and especially seek to replicate The Circle with their mimicking of fashions and overt attempts to look fashionable and 'chivalrous', as Paradosia does.
Rouge Sable are notably left alone by Stehno despite being their neighbours as it seems they took the deal offered to them and so freely trade with The Azad Family and gift their Red glamour and wealth to Stehno.
Though, this has not changed the wealth and influence of Rouge Sables too drastically as they continue to sell large amounts of Red Glamour and draw in a lot of tourism to enjoy their artists and talents... as well as their famous burlesque houses and brothels... though, the strain of their deal with Stehno has ensured that Rouge Sables needs to continually create more and more red glamour. A dangerous and badly paid job that results in more and more cases of Apertus Glamour , this condition spreads more and more throughout Rouge Sables, though the town is doing it's best to use it's glamours and illusions to pretend all is well whilst trying to find a cure.

Demographics

Just as all of Thysia, a variety of races reside in Rouge though they all follow the Paradosia fashions and beauty constructed ideas.

Government

Owned by Baroness Millicent Commonbrook who acts as the monarch of Rouge Sables. She recently inherited (4 years ago) the ruling title as baroness from her father Isaiah Commonbrook and she is a halfling.
Millicent hired notable nobles of Rouge as her advisors, specifically, the owners of the Red Glamour mines and farms as well as a head guard that she personally appointed, a gruff Tiefling from Stehno called True. She has been criticised for this action as it is well know True is devoted to Stehno still... this was not helped by accusations that he had seduced her in order to reach his current position... though, despite these criticisms, True assisted Millicent in the creation of the Red Pauldrons , the new army and guard force for Rouge Sables who are skilled with land and sea battle and are committed to maintaining order in the barony and fending off external threats.

The Red Pauldrons act as the well trained army and guards of Rouge Sables. A disciplined and well trained swordsman and lance group.

Assets

Rouge Sables is a very wealthy town with treasures and valuables throughout, this results in the town class infrastructure consisting of many middle and upper class people, though the individuals who work in the factory and act as Red Glamour farmers live in squalor. As a result, Rouge often hides it's slums from tourists by turning their Red glamour factories into work houses to house them in a very Dickens in London style.
