Challken is the current capital city of Anotheros and is ruled by Stilben Swift , a fierce patriot of Anotheros and lover of his city.
Challken is a dock town with ready access routes to the rest of Thysia that has ensured it is regularly flowing with trade, wealth and coming-and-goings of many different individuals looking to make a name for themselves. This also makes Challken seemingly the centre of progress in Anotheros with the newest inventions being introduced to the world in this city. However, this is not quite true but rather, most inventions are advertised in Challken... setting a precedent that the city ruler makes the most of.
Challken is a gorgeous city that makes use of Skyrails in much of it's transport and design purposes whilst most buildings are tall, modern and stylish high rises that make the city stand out and be easily spotted even from a distance at sea.
The city also holds a variety of festivals to celebrate Anotheros and it's everchanging culture as well as being the home of The Scattering Tower the building that acts as one of the largest repositories of knowledge in Thysia and has drawn much criticism for refusing to hand over information and files that were taken from The Oracanium in order to keep the files in Tower.

Government

The settlement is run by Stilben Swift and an appointed government of 70 people who advise and debate on how to run the city in it's daily affairs. This group consist of businessmen, specialists and civil servants. However, this often means they are slow to respond to problems and many question why the city bother to name a mayor as well as criticising them for copying Thalasia's government style. 
All men and women are taxed and this leads to many childrne being worked in order to support their families.

Defences

Challken is a well defended space thanks to it's close proximity to the water and it's use of high tech defensive equipment such as pulse cannons and soul disablers. 
Additionally, the Anotheros militia resides in FORCE in Challken, especially to offset the criminal influences  that permeate all moments in Anotheros.

Infrastructure

Like all cities in Anotheros, they are modernand advanced with sewage and water circulation as well as a refined Skyrail design for transportation.
