Alfor am Tabori was the Baron of Mull during the The Second Great Orc War and a hero of the Kingdom of Imesse. After winning great fame and glory in the long war, he continued to rule as Baron for a prosperous 50 years and ushered an era of peace and plenty for the people of Mull.
Alfor was the first child of Marlo am Tabori, the Baron of Mull, and Ollia Lothman. He was an energetic and very active youth and trained and drilled on the lists daily. When his father the Baron departed from Mull Castle to assist his wife's family with the rumors and threats of Orc raids in the far west of the Kingdom, Alfor begged to be allowed to accompany him, but Marlo thought him too young for such a journey. He was tasked with attending the castellan and learn the daily management of such a large and complex operation.
Less than a month later, word reached Mull that the entire western region of the Kingdom was at war against a massive Orc invasion, and the lands where Marlo had gone to investigate were already long overrun. No word was to be had from the Baron, so when Alfor took on the role of ruler in his father's stead, no one questioned him. Alfor called for the raising of a mounted host of Barony knights and over the next fortnight saw 600 mounted men answer his call. He, along with his father's most trusted men-at-arms and officers, marched the force to the City of Jorick to cross the Caldar into the west.
Alfor proved a natural leader of men and skillfully led his host of Mull knights into battle after battle. His efforts were effective and successful, and the respect and gratitude he earned from King Lothar were rewarded with large grants of lands to both the Barony and to the Tabori family. Alfor was anointed Baron by the King himself and ruled as Baron for the next 50 years.
Alfor's father's body was never recovered, but when his mother's family was finally located they reported he had died in a brave but hopeless defense of the family's tower house in the first wave of the invasion.
