Bythanzia
Bythanzia is a diverse, broad continent found in Universe #313 populated by a vast array of magical creatures and magic-using people.
Geography
Bythanzia is a sizable continental complex spanning the northern temperate to subarctic latitudes from roughly 35° to 70° (although outliers reach further north and south) and spanning nearly 60° longitude. Nearly every climate, save for tropical jungles, can be found across the continent.
Fauna & Flora
A visitor from Earth would find many of the countries found there very similar to that of Europe before Earth's Industrial Revolution. In addition, there are a wide variety of plants and animals one from Earth would call "mythical" such as dragons, fairies, unicorns, etc.
Natural Resources
Most of the natural elements found on Earth are also present in Bythanzia, plus a number of magically created ones. Gold, silver, copper, tin, lead, and various salts are important for alchemy, as is iron, which is the primary ingredient for most tools and weapons. A few magical alloys are also present, but rare, which when worked into bronze, iron, steel, brass, or other metals creates enchanted items.
It is basically similar to that of medieval Europe, Northern Africa, and far western Asia. Thus wood from trees both deciduous and coniferous abound along with other plants and animals good for food, clothing, and other assorted uses.
