"Silver" Incident

A strange alien ship is found. It is not of any known faction origin. The crew was comprised entirely of mind-controlled intelligent species nearby, including but not limited to Saelian, Drimax and even Suon. They fought anyone who tried boarding the craft. The event was mostly significant because it led to an increase in xenophobia, which threatens the future of the Hyperion Federation because of its multi species property.

A strange alien ship was found by the UN of Tebburus. It is not of Saelian design, or any other known faction in the galaxy. They boarded and investigated it... No one returned.
  It was later found that, by running more detailed scans on the ship, the crew of that ship were still alive. However, they have been enslaved by a device implanted in them, and fought any boarders to the death. Or in some cases, even past. More modern scanners would have fared better here, but they were limited by the technology of their time.
  They later boarded it with remote controlled robots in order to free them. They fought their way to the bridge of the alien craft, where they extracted all the data as needed. However, they triggered a self destruct sequence in the process which also destroyed the robots before they could transmit this data to the UN of Tebburus. Every robot and soldier was annihilated.
  The incident is named such as its outer hull was very white and incredibly shiny, in resemblance ot high purity silver.
