Upsilon Pranatais System
A star system that exists purely in Virtual Universe space, accessible only by the Hyperion Federation.
The Upsilon Pranarais system is impossible to form under real univese physics. This star system is one of the most popular virtual universe settings, with many laws of physics being rewritten for the system. Even some locations can have different laws of physics from others. It is mot commonly used as a setting to play games around, but also for training.
The parent star has unlimited fuel and doesnt follow any modern classification system. It emits blue light, but no red light. It also emits a lot of UV and infrared light which gives rise to life on 9 different planets in the system as well as the spaceborne life, which in any other star system would allow a Harkas to survive, but the laws of physics in the virtual universes can be broken, so a harkas (or any sentient species really) should technically be able to survive in any condition.
Because it doesn't exist in real space, the Data Fae can interact with it directly as well. They would often manifest themselves as small fairy-like creatures, occasionally leaving spatial rifts behind when they eat part of the world's information - which is recalculated by the world shortly after.
Although the HF cannot obtain any physical resources from the system (in fact it requires energy to run), it is still quite valuable for the physical and psychological insight it gives into how the world might behave under a different set of physical laws and how people might react to it. This has spawned inspirations and technologies coming from that world that are freely able to impact the real world.
