T.S. Janrall

T.S. Janrall is a Hyperion - Class Worldship Carrier that visited the Arcturus galaxy. There was, reportedly, a precursor artifact located on a world near the Alti Dominion. Using Miasi territory, it reached the flank of the Alti - Miasi front. It went around the front.  T.S. Janrall obtained the artifact for study; it went on board the ship. 
What they did not know, however, was this very artifact would only bring doom to them all.
The artifact was a Ghost Tether. As one person died on the ship from old age, they turned into a Ghost. Soon after, everyone on the ship was killed and turned into ghosts. T.S. Janrall itself remains fully operational, except its QECs were destroyed. It now aimlessly roams the void around the galaxy. You can never predict where it will be in a year's time. The Hyperion Federation, knowing full well the danger of Ghost Tethers, did not dare to recover it.
