Sulethis Empire
The mirror universe version of the Sulethis Republic. The SE is on the Hyperion Empire side of the Fracture.
The SE evolved on a ring world orbiting a gas giant in the same star system as Sulethis. They found a large abundance of resources. As such, they attempted to colonise it, but every one of the colonists were killed in the attempt. They evolved in space conditions. They will never set foot on planets again. Instead, they send robots to exploit the resources of planets.
They believe it is their right to conquer the entire known universe for themselves. Their population doesnt get much say over their government. The Sulethis Empire To'rer'ot are a different species form that of the Sulethis Republic to'rer'ot. To differentiate these 2 species, they are known as the Imperial to'rer'ot and republic to'rer'ot respectively. However, some other names to differentiate them include space to'rer'ot and planetary to'rer'ot, among others. They still have the hologram projector organs and most other features their planetary versaion have, except those that depend on the planet to work (e.g. lungs and legs). They instead have other bodily features to survive conditions in space more effectively. The SE is similar in many ways to the SR but reversed. Some people from both sides have travelled to the other to live under the government and culture of the other. This has allowed the SR to have to'rer'ot in space and rely less on drones, and the SE to have people on planets which are a reliable way to mine materials that they could not use before due to cultural fear. The planetary to'rer'ot often have to be teleported over. The SE and SR can build very different starship designs. While the SR mostly builds highly reliable drones and calls them starships, the SE can build crewed starships. However, the inverse is true for planetary vehicles. They have similar technology, have occupied similar territories and have subjugated similar societies and the 2 powers are roughly equal in strength, like every faction with their mirror universe variants.
