S.R.I.A
A Freelancer Starship aligned with the Hyperion Federation.
SRIA was the first freelancer ever formed. It was originally a Sentient Robot which wondered what it would be like to transfer its memory to a starship for its entire life since it was built in 20 539 on Cela. This stage of its life lasted for roughtly 300 years before becomming a Boson - Class Destroyer. From there, SRIA slowly automated more and more systems from the organic crew of the ship and eventually suddenly sending them to a different ship, another Boson, when SRIA managed to become fully autonomous with the destroyer as its body.
Slowly over time, it replaced many systems with entirely new ones, as it no longer requred a life support system, coridoors, internal lights, radiation shield and so on. It eventually became almost entirely unrecognisable from a Boson - and far better optimised. Its speed would improve substantially as it would no longer worry about killing the crew on high-g maneuvers. This kind of starship became so effective that some other sentient robots began doing similar things. Its combat personality has been somewhat influenced by this, and although slightly larger than a regular Boson, it is faster and carries significantly more firepower and is additionally better armoured. SRIA is still alive today and in active service - an incredibly experienced and valuable combatant.
SRIA even managed to obtain some parts of archaeotech and incorporate them into itself, somewhat similar to a Sovereign Light - Class Advanced Cruiser.
Although SRIA can no longer visit the surface of Cela, it would have its home port in a station orbiting Cela, where SRIA considers its home despite being unable to visit its true home or place of construction ever again.
Despite having ended thousands of lives in various wars, SRIA has a surprisingly optimistic and sometimes funny personality. It would sometimes humiliate enemies by making 'pop' noises into allied QEC frequencies when enemy starships explode (typically through ammo detonation), but is not masochistic. It defends its fellow people to the best of its ability, including organics, as it can be often curious and fascinated about them and also feel empathy for allies.
