Nicoll - Dyson Gigascale Starship

Using Φ High-Energy Technology, it becomes possible to build Nicoll-Dyson Gigascale Starships, basically a mobile Nicoll-Dyson Beam that is very heavily armed even excluding its signature weapon. Its shield is extremely strong, requiring Planetcraft or even larger to even dent it. Unfortunately, like planetcraft, their mass is too immense to allow warping between galaxies. Its main weapon still features its IGWD though, but the range is reduced significantly to intragalactic range (as opposed to intergalactic). Starships of this scale are even bigger and slower than Planetcraft. Battles between ships like these will take significantly longer - sometimes going into multiple years.
However, this form of supermassive starship - megastructure is still logistically impossible for the Hyperion Federation to construct.

Propulsion

The Nicoll-Dyson Gigascale Starship requires a special form of stellar engine to move. Most of these are not viable in this case as they present a large weak spot in the constructin of the ship. For example, should a thruster that emits the stars radiation (exploiting conservation of momentum with photons) be used, it creates a large open area in the hull where an enemy star destroying weapon can hit. Instead then, the ship is a fully enclosed Dyson sphere. The energy produced through this is fired backwards via photon thrustrs, but this would cause the shell to move independant from the star and cause them to collide when accelrating. Graviton Wave Reflection is used to remedy this as several recorders inside thte sphere itself constantly monitor the position of the star. If one side gets closer to the sphere, the sphere will detect that and reflect the gravitational waves of the star back towards itself in a way that strongly attracts the star towards the desired center.

Armor and defense

It is armoured with an extremely thick layer of TGX Composite, similar to Planetcraft. Regular planet destroying weapons will not penetrate thick TGX Composite, so much larger and more powerful weapons need to be used.
