The Black Hand
General Summary

After making their way to Brightport and finding themselves at the gate to the Black Hand's complex and calls her out. Lauren exits and Kalden attempts and fails at diplomacy and instead tries to grab and freeze her. With this, the attack begins. Paladins and henchmen join the attack and Brightport turns into a maelstrom of violence. Lauren shrugs off several brutal attacks and defends herself well. Larg rushes at her in a primal attack, causing both of them to crash through the wall of a nearby building. Lauren rises and there is a moment of calm as she casts Time Stop. She blasts Kalden with a lightning bolt which he barely survives but is soon hit and killed by one of the nearby demons. The party frenzies their attacks and Braylon casts erupting earth which sends a large wooden beam into Lauren's chest nearly killing her. Larg says a few words over her before raising his hammer and bringing it down to crush her head. The battle continues to rage around them as they gather around Kalden and plan their next move.
