Bronze Age

Eshen Dray

Year 0

This was the year in which The Eshen Dray were founded, and it was later set as the year 0 for the Yavinian Calendar.

Yavinian Calendar

Year 12

The creation of the Yavinian Calendar by the ruling class of the Eshen Dray, to aid them in keeping track of time.

Drayech Civil War

Year 161

After many years of supremacy and a century of golden age, the First Drayech civil war broke out in the north, this was then followed by no less than four more civil wars, ending with the death of the last of the Drayech bloodline, and the end of the Drayech empire

Year 195

After decades of civil war, the Yavinian plain finally new peace once again, now ruled by countless tiny counties and duchies, the Yavinian nation was a fragment of its former self.

Enyani-Aethrian War

Year 210

Mere years after the consolidation of a modest wood-elven kingdom, known as Aethria, in the lands of the former southern province of the Eshen Dray, which had always had a large grass-elven population, it was invaded by the Enyanian kingdom, and subjugated, this was not a long war, as the Aethrians, while powerful regionally, couldn't stand up to the might of the Enyanian people, it received no aid from its former war allies in the civil wars, as the humans did not care about their former elven countrymen.

The Incursion

Year 1012

The first incursion was the only time that one of the Ynue attempted to enter the world, and nearly succeded.
It was Mirani, the lady of death and decay, who pierced Yanu's force field, protecting the world from the Ynue specifically, and caused an era of plague and famine unlike anything that has happened before or since. For two decades, harvests failed, and repeated pandemics ravaged the world, and no less than eighty percent of all people living in this time died of starvation or disease.

The Blood Wars

Year 1032

The Lack of food, and the mass dying of people, caused the world of vampires to make a bid for power, something they had never dared do before, this vampire uprising marked the start of a new age in the world, a transition into a state of constant war for survival, this wasn't a single conflict, but rather a long series of wars fought between the living and the undead. In these years, the world knew many vampire kingdoms, some of which came quite close to taking over.

The Black Blood Rebellion

Year 1444

During the chaos of the blood wars, one war stuck out, it was when a talented young mage, known as Morgan Lithechi, who later took Morgalith as his name, started a rebellion against the established order of magic, fighting both vampires and mortals alike, although the lesser vampires sided with them, due to their allegiance to Mallakar.

There are certain practices in the magical world that are, if not forbidden, at least frowned upon, and Morglith used these dark arts for the sake of personal power, he pledged himself to the Ynue Mallakar, dark lord of Domination, in the hopes of ending the endless wars of the world, and becoming its sole ruler, but all I'm vain, as he was slain on the frost plains by a coalition of all other inhabitants of the world, the only known time in this millennium that mortals and vampires were fighting alongside each other.

And thus it was, that Mrogalith was defeated on the frost plains of dendor, and sent into the nether realm, as even the Reapers wouldn't have him.

The reason it is called the black blood rebellion is because of Morgaliths, and his followers alleged black blood.

Iron Age

Year 1662

It was during this age of death and conflict, that the living discovered a new metal, iron, that they could use to make steel weapons, which were much stronger and gave them an edge in the war on the undead, and with it, the living were able to slowly start reconquering their lost territories, and free the people that lived there are slaves, and cattle for the vampires.

The End of the Blood Wars

Year 2024

After a millennium of conflict, the final vampire bastions were pushed back into the dark shadowy parts of the world, where they belong, and while the world had defacto been ruled by the living again, for two centuries at this point, the defeat of these last vampire nations marked an official end to this are of suffering.

Enyanian Golden Age

Year 2080-2170

Enyanin, being an urban nation, with great geographical defenses, was the country that suffered the least from the blood wars, and they had actually used this opportunity to increase their influence in the world, spreading their religion and alphabet to the Yavinian plain, which was one of the places were the blood wars were fought the hardest.

The faith of the six became a refuge for the Yavinians, the bishoprics achieved a monopoly of both magical education, and safety within walls, and over time, they had become supreme in their power, answering only to the kings and queens of Enyanin.

This gave the Enyanians a great influx of gold from taxes and trade.

The Holy Wars

Year 2156-2175

During the blood wars, these bishoprics had been the saviors of the Yavinian people, which is why they had eagerly accepted their religion and alphabet, but now that there was peace, the bishops began overstepping their bounds, and it did not go unnoticed that elves would always be favored, in the beginning, there were no human bishops to speak of, and later, they were still rare, which outraged the Yavinian people, as they felt they were being turned into an elvish province.

Thus it was that the humans rebelled against the Enyanians, in bloody conflict to achieve secular rule of the land, this war was made even harder because the bishops were being bankrolled by the Enyanian crown.

In the end, the bishoprics were pushed out of the Yavinian lands, and replaced with counties and duchies

Ashernai Mage Academy

Year 2181

After the defeat of the bishops, the Western mages were now independent, and the decided to found their own mage academy, which would be independent from the control of kings and queens, and would gather knowledge from all over the world, and pass it on to many generations of mages to come.

They called it The Ashernai Mage Academy

The War for the World

Year 2821

After more than two thousand years, Morgalith was sent back to the world of Yanu, and once again he would seek to conquer the world, this time nearly succeeding.

it would take two decades of war, and the formation of the council of kings, to defeat him, this war devastated the entire continent, the echoes of which can be felt into the modern day.

Wessport

Year 4010

People had slowly been migrating to Tiananmye for years, but the founding of this new city, fully inhabited by new settlers, was followed by an even greater influx of immigrants, that made the previous years pale in comparison.

Armir

Year 4045

Driven by curiosity, and the promise of fame and fortune, explorers finally struck land, for real this time, it wasn't a small archipelago such as they had discovered before, but a proper continent, unlike anything ever seen before full of life, and new unknown peoples, it didn't take long for the main naval powers of the world to establish settlements here, which would be Enyanin, Westigham, and Isich, even the dwarves were drawn to the land. The notable absentee, the Anmyans, who had good reason for not waiting to send their ships to the far corners of the world, as trouble was surely brewing within their lands.

Anmyan Civil War

Year 4048

After the slaughter of protesting natives on Tiananmye and nearby islands, and the sinking of the Anmyan convoy sent to restore peace, the Tiananmyan people declared themselves an independent republic, and the anmyan civil war started.

The Colonial Wars

Year 4053-4059

After some years of encroaching on these new lands, the natives struck back, especially the dark elves, or Nalsai as they called themselves, causing the humans to unite their colonies, and move them east, to less populated areas, the elves were driven from the mainland and only managed to keep their island colony of Bakanmye, but the continentals were unfazed, and continued their efforts with renewed zeal.
