The Eshen Dray

The Eshen Dray were an ancient empire during the middle bronze age, based out of, what is now Westingham, at their greatest extent, their reach included the lands of Rendia, Isich, Marn, Dendor, as well as the plains of Enyanin, and the east of Cordyan. They are remembered for laying the foundations of a unified Yavinian culture, and being the primary power of the bronze age, they were also the first in ancient history to keep track of the years, and make a Calendar, one that is now in use all over the continent.

Rule

The nation was divided into five kingdoms, in the beginning, these were all directly ruled by the emperor, but as time went on, more and more of these kingdoms were granted to second sons, decreasing the authority of the emperor, in the end, the five nations, now all ruled by separate Drayech monarchs, fell into a series of civil wars that ended the rule of house of Dray.

Fall

The Eshen Dray survived for about two hundred years, before fading into irrelevance, with the realm being split up amongst different Drayech princes, and an inevitable civil war bringing an end to their rule.
