Magicronic Elements
Magicrons
Magicrons are heavier than regular protons or neutrons, and they are slaves to gravity, just like everything else, this is why it is not uncommon for them to get sucked into stars and black holes, however, seemingly, every magicron that enters a black hole, is jettisoned out of it just as quickly, at near light speed.
Magicrons are gravitationally bound, but they attract each other over ten times as strongly as any other material. This is because they want to form elements.
This is why, as soon as they leave the black hole, they group together, trying to form the most basic Magicronic element: Karyndium.
Magicrons are believed to be made of pure magical energy, and when they disintegrate, they release this energy.
Magicronic Elements
These elements are also called Non-Protonic because they are not composed of ordinary matter. Where the entire periodic table is made up of different types of matter and different arrangements of protons and neutrons, these materials don't quite fit into that.
These materials lack protons or neutrons, or even electrons, instead, they are entirely made up of magicrons, a separate type of particle that can interact with the other elements, but more importantly, with magical energy.
Each of these materials has its own magical utility.
Magical Physics
Magicronian elements for atoms, just like other elements, each with a specific amount of Magicrons in them. These elements do not have any isotopes.
Magicrons do not weigh the same as Protons or neutrons, they are bigger and heavier.
Scientists have attempted to create their own magicronic elements. In some cases, they were successful, in others, they were completely unable to keep the new element from snapping back to a more familiar form.
This has led scientists to claim that, unlike protonic elements, magicronian elements do not exist for each number of magicrons per atom.
Magical Energy
All magicronic materials are complete electrical insulators, they are generally believed to have something equivalent to electrons, but just like electrons, they are impossible to observe. While they can't conduct electrical energy, they are excellent conductors of magical energy.
They are also not magnetic, and they transfer heat at normal rates, just like any other form of matter.
Bonds
Just like electrons, the magicronic equivalent is able to form bonds with each other, as well as with regular electrons. Each element has its own rules for how they do that, but generally, with the artificial elements, it is not very well understood how they do it exactly.
Artificial Elements
The three lightest magicronic elements occur naturally, they can be found with decreasing frequency in the galaxy. The other elements were all created in laboratories, particle accelerators, and fusion reactors.
Koldar Creation
The first discovered was Koldar, because it is the next in line after Kyskedium. Making it was fairly straightforward, just smash two kyskedium against each other, accompanied with the right pressure and temperature, and you get Koldar.
Kralium Creation
Creating Kralium wasn't nearly as straightforward as creating Koldar, and it took scientists a long time to figure it out, no matter how hard, or under what temperatures, the Koldar atoms simply didn't want to snap together. What finally let them do it was when they infused the koldar with magical energy before sending it towards each other.
Half Elements
When scientists attempted to combine two different elements, in order to achieve magicron numbers not I'm the multiple by four series, they found that these elements were not able to maintain structural integrity, each of them in turn dissintegrated, all the way way back into Karyndium, no matter how high the magicronic numbers that they had.

Unobtanium (Un)
Unobtanium is named such, because it is the theoretical next magicronic element that no one has thus far been able to create. If one day it were created, it would have 512 magicrons in each atom, and they would change its name.
Are the Non-Protonic elements the source of magic or can they just be used with magic?
They only interact with magical energy, , magicrons are also created with magical energy, which is why they can release that energy in certain situations, and certain compounds can give mages a magical energy boost.
