Oslias' Groom of the Stool
The Oslias' Groom of the Stool is a ceremonial title given to a trusted advisor and secret holder of King of Oslias created by King Wyat Tuly the Upholder following The Promised War. Kings of House Xilrel and House Arasatra often kept their secrets open to the members of The Conclave of Cérebrael as they were all loyal Elves selected to do their jobs. King Wyat believed that if he selected only humans to roles in the Conclave that he would not be able to govern all of Oslias to his true potential. The problem he saw was some of the members of the Conclave he wished to select for political reasons might be playing the game to become the King or Queen of Oslias themselves. King Wyat selected his great friend, Lord Rowland III Mulligan, as the first Groom of the Stool as they are brothers-in-law. The position holds a seat on The Conclave of Cérebrael. Lord Fenton Turnly, Lord of Easthollow and Head of House Turnly, is the current Groom of the Stool for King Conon II Tuly. Lord Fenton was selected for this position due to his loyalty to House Tuly and because he is King Conon II's third cousin.
