Six Truths of Senadonis

Senadon Vanishing

Senadon was everything for this continent. It was the seat of power, the buyer of resources, and the hub of culture. When it vanished, the entire societal ecosystem was upended.

Rule and Governing

There are no formal ruling classes or governing bodies. Each region, city, and village is handling everything themselves. That doesn't mean there haven't been power plays to takeover lands or expand boundaries, but generally each locale is on their own.   Some ruled by the economic power, some by force, and others by democracy.

Trade

The majority of congregated people previously traded exclusively to Senadon. Senadon had shipping, teleportation, and self use of pretty much any goods available. Therefore, if you had a crop or product, it was sold without the slightest of worry.   That's no longer the case.   Trade is regional at best, even though most civilizations on Senadonis are located on a direct waterway that reaches the entire continent.

The Great Divide

The Eastern and Western Fronts are separated by The Decayed. While the world in general has its share of paranormal, devilish, and fiendish interaction, it would seem that the loss of Senadon has brought a tremendous amount of negative magic and energy to the the central portion of the continent.

Disharmonious Living

Senadon was known for its diversity. All cultures and races were welcomed and celebrated. Humans were the predominant race represented and still make up the majority of the population, but the other major races have grown back together culturally for the most part.   Dwarves tend to be found in and around Bhulbadur and High Garom. Elves were divided to the Zilter and Thornboroguh Forrests and some Elves relocated with a large portion of Fey beings to what has been dubbed Wilderfey.

Stick to Your Path

The feeling for most people outside of the Gilriden Islands is to stay close to home with the people you care for so that you'll never return to a home that no longer exists.
