Knightvein is located between Clarekasing Woodland and where the Rose Road and Griffith Pass meet along the edge of Aegis Basin. It is a walled city with the largest port in the realm. The city itself is divided into districts and the majority of work is carried out by official guilds who are awarded contracts via The Council of .   is the center of both ruling factions of . While both & claim this city as their capital, it is ruled separately by The Council of . This council includes the King and The Ordained on High, as well as the leaders of other noble houses and guilds. These additional leaders are voted to their seats by the citizens of , though the common folk believe the vote to be rigged.   The city is patrolled by Crowns Guard, Golden Scepters, and the local patrol known as Blood Knights who report directly to The Coin.
