Meliora is a catchall name for the vast swathe of planets colonized and terraformed by humans fleeing the destruction of First Earth. For a long time it was nothing but a mass of isolated planets. In recent centuries, they have begun reaching out to one another and interacting. The Empire is their ruling body. Their capital is Third Earth.
