The Tavoran Aqueduct
Starting on a southern portion of The river Vita on the east bank is a mill, it was powered by the running water before the events of The Breaking. This was used to slowly pump water up the hill through a pipe using a screw pump, which then ran over a long distance into an aqueduct system that provided water to the farms in Tavora hills on the west side of Cardian.
Purpose / Function
To provide more water to the farms west of Cardian.
History
The creation of the aqueduct was initiated by Altalas early on in his position as Elder. Though it's design and development was a collaborative effort by the residents of Cardian.
The Aqueduct no longer feeds the farms ever since The River Vita dried up in The Breaking.
