Quetzalcoatlus
This massive flying dinosaur has a wingspan of up to 11 meters/36 feet, and when standing, towers above people at 5.5 meters/18 feet tall.
With it's massive beak, the Quetzalcoatlus both scavenges for carrion, and preys on smaller animals for food.
The Quetzalcoatlus make their home on The Wall, safe from danger high up in the cliffs.
Basic Information
Anatomy
They are 5.5 meters/18 feet tall, with a wingspan of up to 11 meters/36 feet.
These enormous fliers have a beak larger than a person.
Ecology and Habitats
They live high up on The Wall, out of reach from any would be predetors that might prey on it's young.
Sightings of these dinosaurs were usually at The River Vita as they dove in to catch and eat fish. But since The River dried up in The Breaking, it is now much harder to catch sight of one since they do not go to there.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Quetzalcoatlus are carnivourous, and while they can kill prey as large, or larger than themselves, they tend to favour easier prey where they can.
Behaviour
As well as living high up, to further discourage predetors, they live in huge colonies along the wall. As tightly as they can given their enormous size. Despite this, they tend not to hunt together, flying throughout The Valley to hunt.
