Versian Liberation Faction

The Versian Liberation Faction began during the original closing of The Bound Borders due to Decree 583: Binding the Borders. Groups of Merchants, Traders, Travelers, and other Versian citizens with interests in open travel outwardly opposed the Decree.
Unfortunately for them, The Law held firm and refused to alter the Decree. The popularity of the faction declined as members claiming to be of the faction began taking violent responses. While members of the faction officially serving as Faction Supplicants to The Law deny any association with these terrorists, members left in droves to prove their loyalty to the Versian Binderate over this political ideal. All wealthy benefactors eventually found their pursuits better served in obtaining a Writ of Trade or changing their focus to easier to obtain means.
Between the lack of support and continued violent actions against Gavels by citizens claiming to be members of the faction, the Liberation Faction officially had their Supplicancy revoked over time. It now serves as an afterthought, rally of violent offenders, and a theory passed around by idealist youths.
