Master General (a.k.a. Felhammer)

One of the most esteemed and decorated individuals in Galactic Alliance history, Master General Damien Fellhammer even today is looked to as an ideal role model. Brutal and effective as a soldier yet compassionate as a leader. Fellhammer's personal traditions were even responsible for the formation of SAF culture.  
Throughout all of this however, Fellhammer's over all goal was to do what was right, even if it meant breaking the rules.

Physical Description

Body Features

Damien Fellhammer is a hulk of a man, standing much taller than the average human. His body is rippled with muscle mass from the rigorous physical required to be an SAF soldier. He has a number of scars, all obtained from battle.

Facial Features

Damien Fellhammer is known for his smouldering stare, heavy set brow and deep brown eyes. He typically was a stubbly beard accompanied by scruffy hair that is kept short.

"The SAF armour is a part of us, an extension of our very being. Without it, we are not whole"

 Damien Fellhammer was the one responcible for starting the almost religious attachment to one's armour in the SAF. He is no exception with his suit of battle scuffed and scarred from an uncountable number of battles and skirmishes. His armour is also adorned with personal inscriptions acquired over the years.  His most notable piece of equipment however comes in the form of Droidbane, a massive hammer that helped cement his reputation. The hammer, while also being made of solid Duradite , has an overcharged electronic pulse core embedded within that discharges when it strikes a foe, most notably the Sirasion War droids the master general is famed for slaying.

Personal history

Master-General Damien Fellhammer (mostly just called ‘General Fellhammer’ or simply ‘Fellhammer’) is possibly the most accomplished and well-known SAF in the Galaxy. , but it is known that he spent a few years before the Galactic War as a security officer touring around the Galaxy, which is when he met his wife, Julia Fellhammer. Damien was hand-picked for the SAF during the programme’s initial start and proved to be a very fierce fighter and loyal ally, doing all he could to halt the Sirasion advance. He spent around a year on Earth in his early years and after retrieving his power armour from a thief, he learned that his Homeworld, Caldur Primaris, was under assault. He quickly travelled there to organise the defences after the old Master-General was killed a few months earlier. He utilised the SAF’s main headquarters on Caldur Primaris’ moon to launch drop-pods onto the surface. He led this assault himself, and (according to SAF legend) destroyed a Mantis Droid using nothing but an uprooted lamp post. For his great skill and determination, he earned the rank of Master-General, and received his weapon, a hammer called Droidbane.
From here he led the SAF to many victories against the Sirasions, often leading his men personally. After an AI raid on Siran that was intended to abduct the Emperor, but unintentionally resulting in the kid napping of Zurrok’s then pregnant consort, Tirana. 
The Master Generally heavily disagreed with this action, so much so he broke multiple forms of protocol and gave Zurrok a landing code to bring vital, life saving nanites to his wife as she went into labour and experienced complications on Caldur Primaris. Fellhammer himself unaware of Redvenom and Alliance Intelligence's intervention until much later on.   
He would go on state that he viewed one of his greatest failures was not stopping A.I from kidnapping and raising Kline, believing even though Zurrok was one of his greatest adversaries, nobody deserved to have their own children turned against them. 
Fellhammer's own daughter, Laura, was keen to follow in her father's footsteps. She wanted nothing more than to wear the SAF armour just like him. However the SAF were an entirely male organization at this point. While he was initially against his daughter joining the organization, she stubbornly persisted until the rules were bent and eventually changed. Laura's entry into the SAF would be the ground work for the Valkyrie division, a branch of the SAF Fellhammer unfortunately never got to see flourish with his daughter at the head of.  
Before this would happen, Laura and Kline would be caught by the Sirasion Empire for this vigilante work they carried out. Becoming galactically notorious for their deeds. The Empire however saw them as a great threat to their power and opted to have them both publicly executed. While the whole galaxy were still unaware that Kline was Zurrok's son, Fellhammer still viewed Zurrok as a coward for not being able to stop the execution. 
Fellhammer took matters into his own hands, taking a group of SAF volunteers he managed to reach the execution before it could be carried out. He freed both Kline and Laura, however Zurrok was not far behind. Zurrok offered Fellhammer that he turn himself in, in exchange Kline and Laura would be spared. Not trusting the Emperor's word, Fellhammer took matters into his own hands. In a daring display of bravery he leapt from his aircraft to Zurrok's X-3 that was tailing them. Ripping the aircraft apart with his armoured hands he brought it down in the jungle. 
There, he and Zurrok fought one last time which resulted in Fellhammer's defeat. His body was returned to SAF headquarters where it was entombed in a stone sarcophagus along with his legendary hammer.  

Damien Fellhammer was known for being incredibly strong, even for an SAF, and is an expert in the use of two-handed melee weapons. His battle tactics involved striking deep behind enemy lines to harass the enemy in support of army campaigns, and boarding enemy starships to take them down from the inside, such tactics now being primary in SAF combat doctrine.
He was also known for being compassionate and loyal, even in the face of adversity and war, and always ensured that the right thing was done, even if it went against protocol, tradition or law.
As time had progressed, the stories of Damien Fellhammer have remained at the forefront of galactic culture. Some Sirasion soldiers even subscribe to a prophecy where the master general would one day return and wreak his vengeance. But those are just stories, right?

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

To do whats right is the biggest reward for Fellhammer. On multiple occasions he has gone against the grain to do, in his mind, the right thing. Fellhammer's opinions have always been family before anything else, this has been shown multiple times, most notably when he allowed Zurrok access to Caldur Primaris to attempt to save his wife who was dying in childbirth after being captured by AI in a botched mission. 
Fellhammer would often go against orders that involved sending men against unbeatable odds. It was likely due to this that made him so beloved by the people. He was considered the peoples leader, always looking out for the weak and vulnerable.

Vices & Personality flaws

One of Fellhammer's biggest flaws is his temper. On manner occasions when attending political meetings he would fly off the handle when comments made by the Sirasions would get under his skin. The Sirasions knew this and would often use the Master General's temper to get him to act without thinking his decisions through.

Social

Family Ties

Damien has only a small family consisting of his wife Julia and daughter Laura. His parents both died of natural causes at a young age. Damien himself is said to be very secretive about where he was born and grew up, but it is rumoured to have been somewhere within the Caldur sector. 
Damien Fellhammer definitely kept his private life separate from his career, with very little being known about Julia Fellhammer. After Damien died his wife faded into obscurity. No one knew much of Laura either until she began to cause a stir in the galactic scene. 
Regardless, Damien Fellhammer always regarded his family first, making the ultimate sacrifice to save Laura from execution at the hands of the Sirasions, a sacrifice that cost him his own life.

Speech

Damien Fellhammer's most known attribute is his booming, commanding voice, having been gifted with a naturally loud voice with the ability to assert his command over others and strike fear into the hearts of the enemy.
