Casius Pontiak
(a.k.a. Skree)
"Life is a game that has no rules, only winners and losers. I know which side i'm on"Sharp as a diamond etched tack, Casius Pontiak, far more commonly known as his alias; Skree, is one of the most successful criminals the galaxy has ever seen. Not only is he a mastermind when it comes to ruthless corporate tactics, but an expertly trained martial artist. He has got to be one of the more well known faces in the galaxy, but not all for good reasons. His close run ins with Zurrok have put him high on the Imperial wanted list, making him an appealing target for any bounty hunter.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Skree has a thin frame that is well toned from his field training. Overall, he could be considered quite a good looking human. He has undergone, and continues to undergo expensive procedures in order to extend his life. He is reaching the end of human life expectancy but remains sharp in mind and still has the same body he had in his prime.
Facial Features
Skree has smooth facial features with a well defined jaw line. He has short black hair that is well kept and often styled into a small mohawk. He has flawless tanned skin as well as perfect teeth, both of these things he paid a substantial amount of credits to achieve. He is completely free of scars or blemishes, any that he did have were removed via precise cosmetic surgery.
Apparel & Accessories
Skree is known to dress well. Smart shoes and smart shirt is the name of the game for him. He prefers black, tailored suits or stylish jackets, often made of silken material. Regardless of what he wears, it tends to be of top quality and worth a lot of credits, as he certainly has the expendable income to afford it. He also wears specialised sunglasses equipped with extra modules such as a scanner and 'X-ray' vision.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
Skree was born into a middle class family in what is in the current day the Azerus sector. Neither of his parents had great aspirations nor did any of his several siblings. He was born during an era of hope that the Alliance and Sirasions could reach a truce and stay arms against one another, but this never happened and the brutal war continued. He signed up to the secretive Alliance intelligence as an intern at first, simply managing paperwork and very non-classified material. However his career would take a sharp turn when the Sirasion Empire, under control of Terrix and Red Venom, invaded Caldur Primarus, the capital world of the Alliance where he worked and lived.
Alliance Intelligence , following the attack, went into hiding along with the rest of the military forces after the capital was taken and twisted red Sirasion banners flew over its structures. AI at this time sought to cut off loose ends, such as desk jockeys like Skree, however he showed a keen interest in working as a field agent. He was given the initial test which he passed with flying colours, with his following training being hasty and make shift due to the situation, however it didn't make him any less of an agent.
Skree was extremely wiley, able to think quickly on the fly and adapt to sudden change. He took up the role as a squad leader when the time came for the Alliance to re-take the capital. When the platoon commander was killed by corrupted resistance, Skree stepped up to lead his squad, and the rest of the Alliance agents to victory.
All of this made Skree the perfect candidate for a mission AI had been planning. The mission code named Operation Ace of Spades was a mission that involved the kidnapping of Emperor Zurrok in order to end the war. There had already been an attempt to capture the Emperor, which had resulted in his wife, Tirana, being captured instead. This mistake had made AI heavily mistrusted in the eyes of the top brass already, not to mention hated by the Sirasion higher ups. Since the missions initial failure the organization was hesitant to pick it back up. It was Skree who ultimately convinced them to allow him to undertake the mission.

Operation Ace of Spades involved getting in contact with the mysterious Arkavon Prison, a privately run prison complex that housed anyone so long as they were paid the right fee. This made the prison popular with bounty Hunters who needed somewhere temporary to store their catch, also with shady business competitors that wanted their rival gone, but didn't want the burden of murder.
Zurrok was due to make a public appearance on an imperial world in the same sub sector as Arkavon, however due to the heavily publicised nature of the appearance he was due to make most of the journey onboard a Polaris destroyer instead of his flagship, in case of such a daring move by the Alliance or another enemy to intercept him. AI knew this and planned to intercept the Polaris, however due to the inevitable back up fleet the Sirasions would have waiting on standby it would all have to be done quickly and efficiently, as well as cooperation with the prison.
Arkavon Prison, more specifically the executives, were offered the bounty money reserved for if anyone outside the Alliance military was to aid in his capture. They hastily accepted the offer, which was brokered by Skree personally. This was the first stage in his own master plan. He had a dummy account set up that the prison would collect the money from as to not indict them with the Sirasions, essentially making the money slightly less 'dirty'. By not making it a direct transaction, Skree was able to plant a bug within the account that would transfer the money straight to his own network of shell company accounts he had set up prior to the big mission, essentially making the money, once obtained, so scattered it would be impossible for the Alliance government to track down.
All that remained was to complete the mission. Skree's job was to insert into the prison and act as one of the prisoners, using hired mercenaries, who were unaware they were attacking the Emperor's ship, AI ambushed Zurrok's polaris. They succeeded in critcally damaging the vessel and forcing it down to the planet, AI being very careful to jam any and all distress calls. When the backup fleet arrived, they only found mercenaries, all of AI's ships being hidden behind cloaking devices and retreating. The mercenaries in space distracted the Sirasions for long enough the prison could deploy their own forces to take on Zurrok and the crash survivors.
They managed to overwhelm Zurrok and his soldiers, whisking him away to the prison on the other side of the planet, as well as scuttling the wreckage by burying it under a landslide. Everything had fell into place. Search teams looked franticly for the Emperor across the planet, and despite multiple searches, the prison managed to hide him. After several days, the heat on Arkavon died down, the Sirasions beginning to look elsewhere.
All that remained now was for Skree to extract the Emperor back to Caldur Primaris. However the prison had other plans. They were using many of their prisoners as test subjects for a number of sick experiments. They daringly took Zurrok under the knife and discovered that he had a core of Tesseract , made as a precursor to the Tesseract Amulets used by Sirasion warmarshalls to escape certain death situations. The prison were determined to extract the Tesseract core before handing Zurrok over.
While in the prison, Skree befriended Zurrok undercover, this being the birth of his known alias, it being the fake name he was using while undercover. The prison had no intention of playing ball, and Zurrok was close to hatching an escape plan and repairing his cybernetics. Skree went along with this, working alongside Zurrok as he escaped and brutally massacred the prison staff. Zurrok managed to get into contact with a Sirasion Polaris destroyer, which swiftly came to his aid. It had scuppered Skree's initial plan, but he had a back up. As he, Zurrok and several others made their escape he had a a colleague back at AI secure the transaction of the money to the prison, ofcourse none of that money made it into the prison's bank accounts, instead going straight to Skree. It was here he double crossed Zurrok, parting ways with him and making his escape. Skree also killed one of the prisoners they were escaping with, who Zurrok had also befriended. Zurrok took her death personally.

Having cheated the Alliance for several billion credits, Skree vanished. He used his AI training to make himself disappear, wiping his name from as many data bases as possible. He used a portion of his money to purchase the Casstech star ship corporation and rename it SK corp. He shaped the old company into a star ship giant, purchasing several other smaller companies and adding them under the belt of the massive conglomerate he had made.
Skree was simply getting richer, however his plans had to change when Zurrok had a bounty placed on him. Suddenly he had to be more cautious of his movements around the galaxy. This all came to a head when Zurrok himself locked onto his location and personally lead a force to bring him in. Skree engaged Zurrok in a fighter battle around the SK corp space station headquarters, however his was inadvertently saved when the illusive 'Nightstalker' showed up to disabled Zurrok's ship.
Zurrok increased the price on Skree's head, having gone beyond his initial desire for vengeance to simply not wanting to be beaten. He made Skree such a hot topic he couldn't go far without someone recognizing him. Skree was forced to go into hiding, though he lived a comfortable life while underground.
_______________________________________________________________________
While Skree was on the run from Zurrok and the Sirasions, he encountered a rogue scientist, Dr Wolfgang. Dr Wolfgang, unknown to everyone at the time, was a survivor from the time of the High Tekno, having preserved his life through suspended animation. He and a colleague had experimented on a girl named Emily in order to infuse her mind with a volatile substance that allowed her brain to produce several million times its natural electricity output while itself remained unharmed, essentially turning Emily into a living power source. Wolfgang's colleague was the one who figured out how to do it, but when he died the knowledge was lost with him.
Skree encountered Wolfgang when a gas harvesting ship from one of his many subsidiary companies came across Wolfgang's remote science station in the high orbit of a barren planet. The two met as the mining vessel detected off the scale energy readings coming from the station. After investigating further, Skree himself opted to approach Wolfgang and enquire into what he was doing. Skree offered to buy Wolfgang's experiment off of him, seeing it as another entrepreneurial scheme, but the old man was stubborn and wouldn't agree to his terms, so instead Skree hired a group of mercenaries to secure Emily for him. While there was some squabbling amongst the mercenaries, Skree left with his prize.
With Emily, or more commonly known as experiment X-01, in Skree's custody, she was subject to even more poking and prodding. Skree was convinced he had better scientists than Wolfgang, but he began to realise the magnitude of High Tekno science as the best minds he could enlist were unable to figure out how Emily had been turned into a living power conductor. Emily was capable of outputting the power of a building sized star ship reactor when subject to enough physical pain. As a result she was relentlessly tortured even more than when in Wolfgang's lab. Skree was also becoming frustrated with her, the pressure of Zurrok baring down on him combined with all the funds he was pouring into researching Emily's condition was close to pushing him over the edge. he'd routinely lose his temper and take it out on Emily. The abuse on Emily ended up becoming a near daily occurrence for a while. To Skree, she was just as much a reliable outlet for his frustration as she was a science experiment.
Skree spent most of his time cruising the galaxy in a luxury yacht so he could live in comfort while also being hard to track down. He'd taken to carting Emily along with him for reasons of observation and security, though in reality he had became so reliant on her as a physical and metaphorical punching bag going without here caused him even more stress. However Skree became one of the unfortunate few come happen across Regenold and his star ship, the Necros.
Skree's yacht was boarded by Regenold, his possessions were raided and a sum of his money stolen. Regenold spared Skree's life, leaving him with the cryptic notice that one day he would be back when the time is right. In actuality, Regenold knew of Skree's significance, and while onboard brainwashed a number of Skree's crew to feed him information on his doings and whereabouts. Emily however saw this as an opportunity to escape from Skree. She snuck onto the Necros and left with Regenold.
_______________________________________________________________________
Soon, the constant trouble Skree was receiving from countless bounty hunters chasing up Zurrok's bounty combined with the loss of Emily were starting to take their toll. Skree was teetering dangerously close to the edge of madness by now. He hatched another grand plan to get Zurrok off his back. He once again used his extensive knowledge of investigation and skilled contacts to find out about Zurrok's secret daughter Zaliah. His plan was to kidnap Zaliah and use her as a bargaining chip to force Zurrok to recall the bounties on his head. Skree planned to install a secretive 'kill chip' in Zaliah that he could activate if Zurrok were to place a bounty on his head again, or atleast keep Zurrok and his scientists busy for long enough while they tried to remove it so Skree could properly disappear. Skree bided his time, waiting nearly three years before moving on to the next stage of his plan.
Skree's plan however didn't make it that far. The agents Regenold had embedded onto his yacht were keeping him updated. Once Skree made his move to capture Zaliah, Regenold swooped in and took both Zaliah and Skree. Regenold wanted Zaliah for the purpose of his collossal scale terrorist attack he wanted to use to incite chaos across Necrophyre and Sirasion sectors, in which he would publicly execute Tirana, Zurrok's consort and Arc'orion, one of Grek's sons along with Zaliah. Skree himself would also be brought to the execution with the intention of also being killed on live broadcast. However, a combined force of Necrophytes and Sirasions, including Zurrok, managed to find Regenold's secret bunker and interrupt the broadcast, but not in time to save Arc'orion or Tirana.
Finally, Zurrok and Skree were face to face and Skree was vulnerable. He was ready to come to terms with his fate at the hands of Zurrok, who had thus far not realised Skree was responsible for Zaliah's initial disappearance. Surprisingly to him, Zurrok looked away, having just witnessed Tirana's death right infront of him he no longer seemed interested in his rivalry with Skree. He told Skree to leave, giving him the warning that if they met again, his death would be certain.
Skree did not take it for granted, running with his proverbial tail between his legs. After his near run in with Zurrok, Skree began to reflect on everything, having been the subject of an emperors personal ire and lived to tell the tale for now. By order of Zurrok, most of his assets in Sirasion space had been seized and he'd been unable to publicly run SK corp due to being in hiding. He remained ever cautious and stayed hidden until Zurrok stepped down from the position of Emperor. After this the heat on Skree died down, his price on the imperial bounty boards started to drop as higher priority individuals started taking his place.
Skree's current whereabouts are unknown, as well as what he is up to, but as an individual driven to the brink of madness and back again, there is no telling what he'll do next.
Employment
Skree's main employment was within the ranks of Alliance Intelligence. He began as a desk jockey where he handled basic paper work such as expenditures and simple internal affairs such as making sure the supply rooms were stocked with the right amount of cleaning equipment. His superiors quickly realised he was above this position as his efficiency was far greater than any of his colleagues. He was later re-assigned to higher responsibility roles such as asset management and allocation until he eventually ended up in the top of the heap in regards to desk roles; mission intelligence.
With Mission Intelligence, Skree handled dozens of agents, acting as their eye in the sky on missions and voice in meetings with the top brass. He handled a total of 98 different agents over his career and oversaw the completion of hundreds of missions. These missions were a variety of different types, from disruption of Sirasion assets to dealing with internal problems such as criminal syndicates. Skree was a big contributor to the dismantling of the Lodestar Cartel, one of the largest underworld syndicates at the time. In doing this he learned a lot about how criminal organisations worked. He would later use this knowledge to avoid making the same mistakes the Lodestar Cartel when it came to running his lucrative businesses.
Throughout all this however, Skree was never a field agents. He was given the opportunity to take up the role as a field agent which he readily accepted. Even as a desk worker he had undergone some combat training, so he fit in to his new role quite easily. Skree became a capable fighter and field agent, completing 50 successful missions before Operation Ace of Spades; Alliance Intelligence's second attempt to capture Zurrok.
Following his betrayal of the Alliance, he made off with a vast sum of credits which he used to purchase the Casstech star ship corporation and a number of companies that he would make subsidiaries, all under the group name of SK corporation. He build the conglomerate up to run so efficiently, using his knowledge on law and his overseen dismantling of various criminal organizations and law evading businesses to jump through all the loopholes he knew the Alliance did not know about.
SK corporation became so self sufficient and earned so much extra money it eventually was able to run mostly legit, Skree himself was left with so much extra money he was able to essentially retire.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
Skree's initial motivations for joining Alliance Intelligence were simply to make something of himself and achieve greater aspirations of his average, working class family. He likes being involved in the big picture, but was more in it for personal progression and achievement rather than a cause, such as to defend the Alliance from the Sirasions and other threats.
As he continued advancing through the ranks of AI he became more interested with making money, more specifically, how other people did it and were so successful at it. He became fascinated with criminal organizations he was tasked to aid in taking down. When his superiors were talking about a second attempt to capture Zurrok (following the failed first attempt which resulted in the abduction of Tirana) he persuaded them to let him be the one to carry it out, with no intention of completing the main objective.
After Skree managed to obtain the bounty money held on Zurrok by the Alliance he split the money across a number of shell accounts and fled from his career at AI. He spared Zurrok, which he later came to realise was a mistake.
Following his big payoff, all Skree really wanted to do was keep making money through his newly established SK conglomerate. However Zurrok had taken his deceit by Skree personally and was determined to hunt him down. Zurrok made Skree's life very difficult, so difficult that avoid Zurrok and other bounty hunters became Skree's number one priority.
Skrees motivation now, after having made so many enemies, is to simply stay hidden and to continue living his comfortable life in secret.
Social
Family Ties
Skree has no ties to his former family. After leaving to join Alliance Intelligence he lost contact with them, making no effort to build that contact back up.
Social Aptitude
Skree is extremely charismatic. He is very good at getting his own way through use of smooth talking in order to get his own way. He knows how to influence people and the right time and place for intimidation and grovelling. He has used this knowledge to build the conglomerate of SK corp.
This is mostly however a persona Skree is able to hold up in certain social situations or spaces. As well as with people who don't truly know him. Those who spend more time around Skree may notice this persona start to drop as he works less to keep it up. His true nature is that of someone easily angered and quick to lash out. Any kindness he shows is often only to get further to or achieve one of his personal goals. He is a notorious manipulator, social interaction is a big game to him, with everyone else as his pieces.
Speech
Skree has a smooth, silky voice. He often speaks quietly, preferring not to shout. If he raises his voice it will be very suddenly for maximum effect and belittlement of his quarry.
