Arkavon
Arkavon is considered to be a perfect world. Excellent air composition, a placid landscape with very little hazards from both flora and fauna alike. It is known for its sprawling grassland plains, tropical jungles and majestic forests. The people native to Arkavon are humans with a very low technological capability, considered to still be back in their iron age, despite interference from outside forces.
But what Arkavon is perhaps most well known for is the privately run prison complex built there. This relatively small building was an independently owned prison that housed criminals, mostly for the Sirasions, or for anyone with enough money in their pocket. When the original founder of the prison passed away, a new leader took command and the prison changed for the worse.
The new owner had a career in less than legal medical research, and the prison was the perfect way for him to conduct these experiments without being noticed. Arkavon prison staff would snatch local villagers from the primitive surrounding areas and bring them in to be experimented on. They would also do this to other inmates in their charge.
The prison was destroyed. However, when it became involved in an AI plot to capture Emperor Zurrok, AI inserted an agent named Skree for the job and agreed that if the mission was successful they would be paid a large sum of credits as reward. The prison did as they were asked and when Zurrok was on a routine inspection with a small guard detail, had an elite team of mercenaries dispatch the guards and bring him in. The objective was to hold Zurrok until an AI ship could come and pick him up.
To keep Zurrok in the dark, Skree was placed as one of his cellmates. However Skree knew there was a big reward to be had here. He convened with the prison convinced them they could both get more money if Zurrok was handed over to the GBBA and the bounty on his head was collected. The prison agreed to this, but things became further complicated when they discovered, after some unaware staff took Zurrok in for some 'routine' experimentation that he had a fully hooked up Tesseract core in his chest. This only increased the credit signs in their eyes. as well as drew great interest from the prison CEO.
Skree however had no plans to share any of this reward with the prison. He knew Zurrok would escape fairly soon, so he just let it play out. When he, still playing a prisoner, secured a transport along with Zurrok and several others, and Zurrok had at this point had a Polaris Destroyer Missile strike the complex, he decided to make his move. He attempted to subdue Zurrok, but despite his AI training the cyborg was too strong.
Skree ended up making his escape by calling in a remote fighter and jumping into it from the gunship. While initially his place had failed, he managed to pull some strings with his contacts within AI. Using their forgery skills they managed to fool the GBBA into thinking Zurrok had been killed in the missile strike. It was only after Skree had secured his credits that the GBBA realised they had been tricked once Zurrok was confirmed alive. [Continued in Skree]
