Israfil
Amidst the tempestuous storms he creates, Israfil circles Althasi's cities, crying out in an eerie, ethereal, but cacophonous whale song. He makes his roost on the skyscrapers of each city, only doing so when Mare Respiratus is in its New Moon phase, otherwise, he hides deep beneath the flooded oceanic waves during Full Moons, hoping to somehow find his way into Umbra Mare to then also somehow finish off Samael.
He does deviate from this behaviour... Actually, it would be more accurate to say that this diving and roosting behaviour is a deviation from his norm. He is most often found flying aimlessly through Althasi, bringing his heavy squall with him. Whenever he roars, lightning strikes, leaving behind a time-space distortion.
This time-space distortion can be entered, wherein one can see the affected area as it was approximately 300 years ago, before the calamity befell it... However, it is only for that affected area, attempting to travel within the past beyond the distortion's field will instead bring you back to the present day outside the field. Additionally, these fields are time-limited, and will eventually collapse, although the timing varies and is assumedly dependent on size (more exploration required).

Physical Description
Body Features
Wyvern-esque, segmented much like an insect, drawing features primarily from serpents and avians. Israfil has three pairs of feathered wings and one set of extremely long, flexible raptorial legs. His tail tip, tail base, and head are feathered, each patch having a few sets of whisker-like protrusions that end in sacs that glow intermittently. His head is adorned with three pairs of feathery, gill-like feelers, as well as one singular, long tusk. His head is python-like in shape.
The length of Israfil's wing membranes is "adjustable" as they are made up of the same Cor that functions as his beating heart, it would be better to picture his wing membranes (and perhaps his body feathers) as flames that can be stoked and blaze at different sizes, the flames spreading and dancing from where they burn.

Mental characteristics
Personal history
Mixed reports on his origin. Some said he pupated within Raca, others said a rift was torn open and he came out of it. One thing that everyone agreed on was that he brought with him untold destruction, ripping apart and warping the system. He was able to overwhelm and overpower Samael, causing the energy he stored to reach a critical point and Supernova, thus also causing him to become the first Hollow... But not before he could sunder a part of Israfil and place him into a sort of stasis.
This stasis lasted 300 years, before temporarily being freed by some unknown means, and then being contained temporarily again by Calliope. He was released again by Finch and Dawn and remains free to this day, still roaming about Althasi.
Mental Trauma
After his fight with Samael, his mind has regressed into a more feral, aimless beast... Although Samael has endured much the same, if not worse.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
Prior to the calamity, his goal was to drain and consume the stars and planets he came across, more specifically ones that were home to others of his species, however, after his fight with Samael, his new goal is assumedly to completely finish off and devour Samael, to warp the rest of Raca, or both. But given how he behaves now, we don't really know.
He does like to lash out, causing harm to both himself and anyone around. It could just be as simple as that now.

Speech
Does not speak in the usual sense, rather, it can communicate telepathically, and when it does so, it does in a multitude of voices all meshed as one- each voice the voice of someone it had once devoured the star and planets of. Thankfully, it almost always foregoes speaking and conversation, opting instead to roar, screech, keen, and cry like a mindless beast.
Israfil's natural Seraph vocalizations are church bells, usually in a descending pattern.
