Percy

Member of House De Rolo Grew up as a noble house scion in Whitestone, but was displaced and went on the run after House Briarwood took over Whitestone during his youth.
Gunslinger, but also formerly pacted to Smokey, and still bears some residual scars / powers from that pact. Smokey gave him the designs of his originally gun: The List, and possibly also Bad News (although Bad News doesn't appear to bear any lingering influence from Smokey).
Percy ultimately got his revenge on House Briarwood, Vox Machina helping him free Whitestone and kill the Briarwoods, but in the process Percy fully succumbed to Smokey. The rest of Vox Machina fought the manifestation of Smokey, and ultimately helped Percy sever his ties to the force, partially by throwing The List in to acid, seemingly destroying it.

"It" (smokey?) will "continue to" prey upon others until finally destroyed. So it's not gone! I knew it :D
"if you don't watch yourself, you may not find yourself on our side" Maybe an implication that The List did consume souls? Which would probably be a no-no to the Raven Queen
