Session 67: A Bit of Tomb Raiding & Answering for the Prisoner Report

General Summary

Grimmaz sits with the council after being brought up to speed. The prisoners are being brought in (Eleia, Amon). Grimmaz is looking disappointed at Eleia & Amon. An old hag sitting behind Grimmaz.
Eleia keeps all covered up, Ancient black sheet hood, face visible with a bit of hair. Light tanish skin, gold eyes. Hair either lavender or blue. Keeping her head down mostly and only looking people in the eyes when spoken to/speaking.

The prisoner that got caught at the fort is planned to be delivered to. Grimmaz just skips Reolus with a blank expression And asks Amon why he tried to free the prisoner. Amon calls it a heretic action and says that Eleia was convincing him to free the prisoner.

Amon gives the thumbs up to Grimmaz.

Grimmaz says, these are my lands, and you're named party members. Any decision needs to be taken to me to have a say in it. Amon's punishment needs to be dealt with by Father Tossil. If you wish to continue in these lands you can do with my good graces.

Grimmaz turns his attention to Eleia, you are in the presence of your lord of these lands, it is wise to remove your hood.
Eleia refuses based on religion, what religion asks Grimmaz. Eleia says that it's not any that you guys have heard of.
Grimmaz will look at one of the guards. We may summon father Tossil, he is a man knowledgeful about religion, he might shine a light on it.

A guard goes to summon father Tossil. Father Tossil sees Amon standing there, shakes his head and walks up to Grimmaz. Grimmaz asks father Tossil about not being able to remove the hood because of religion.
Eleia requests a private audience.

Amon has heretics in the brain (Grimmaz explains to father Tossil). And explains that Amon got into contact with the prisoner. Grimmaz asks father Tossil to give penance to Amon for attacking the prisoner.

Afterwards everyone leaves the room, Grimmaz tells Kulog to wait by the door.

Grimmaz will stand in front of his council and gestures an open pan to Eleia, please lower your hood and we may talk.

Thanks you for grating this private audience. Before I remove my hood, I've been unfairly procecuted my entire life and you seem to be a just person. I am to reley a big secret and put my life in your hands.

A small pair of horns are visible on her head. The couple of women of the council gasp "Oh by God". Maven, Fleur gasp shaking their head.

Eleia continues, as you can see, I've made it this far. Surviving this,I would like to live longer.

Grimmaz reappraises her, looking unfazed that she's a Tiefling.

Eleia explains her actions, I had been sticking to Reolus and he had notified me of some man who was in the area wandering around. He was a suspicious character and he'll be send to Charlemagne and might get killed. Eleia didn't think it was fair and was trying to convince Amon to get him into church custody to be a bit more loving.

Eleia thought things would be different but Amon took out his sword. Amon almost killing the prisoner.

Grimmaz asking why did you intervene on the prisoners behalf as he was under the constraint of my guards?
Unbeknown to you, you've entered into a plot against Charlemagne. At worst looking to overthrow him to get his seat of power. You're probably lucky that it's me that governs this land. Eleia will be confined to quarters under guard for the rest of today and then you'll be my personal assistant until I've decided your punishment has been fulfilled.

Eleia agrees to this punishment, Grimmaz doesn't wish that she becomes immediate harm. He will grant her to leave her hood covered especially outside Grimmaz presence. When with Grimmaz, Grimmaz likes to engage with Eleia without the hood.

Everyone is brought back into the room.


Father Tossil and Amon heard the judgement about Amon getting penance by the strictures of the church. In line with his religion, I and the council back this punishment
Eleia will be confined to her room under guard, and servitude towards Grimmaz until Grimmaz finds it successful.

The court is now in recess. The halfling hands 3 boxes to Reolus saying the bottom one is the real one. Grimmaz summons the guards and let them escort her to a house near Grimmaz's house.

Reolus suggest heading to Orleans after explaining a bit about the history of Reolus. Learning about it from Reolus Grimmaz expects his task to be to talk/find Cyrielle and then see what she knows of Gabrielle de Reis.

Reolus explains that they found the ritual that had mentions of Reolus.

Reolus hands the original artifact to father Tossil to get stored safely in the Church. Reolus hands another box to the guard that is taking the prisoner out of town.

Grimmaz goes to find Eleia to find out what her relationship is to Orleans, Grimmaz explains that Cyrielle came from Orleans and explains that they are going there basically after dealing with the stuff in Aachen.

Eleia hopes to meet Cyrielle at some point. Grimmaz explains that if we head to Orleans we might find where Cyrielle is.

The group meet in the inn the next morning looking to go towards Aachen.

While moving horseback to Aachen getting there before the court.

Grimmaz, Eleia, Amon Anselma, Kullog, Reolus are in Aachen, keeping their eyes and ear peeled.

Grimmaz pulls Eleia close and tells her to stay close and keep her hood up.
Grimmaz looks for Count de Aath and explains that Grimmaz thinks that there is an de Reis spy in Eschbrook, as the mercenary was looking for one in Eshbrook called Miss Gold. The mercenary will most likely be put to work for some time.

Grimmaz and Eleia do a courtesy, there's evidence the mercenary will get convicted to work in a labor camp or a mine.

The Raven Queen's Guard mercenary use rape, murder, torture to get what they want.

After some time Reolus finds a small black feather in one of his pockets. And the box has disappeared.

The mercenary is sentenced to 3 years of hard work in the mine. If you complain another 6 months will be added. When you've done your time, when you get released. And we catch you again acting on the Raven Queen's Guard, you'll be executed on sight.

Anselma, Eleia, Grimmaz, Reolus head towards Emon Kanis Tower, while Grimmaz buys a pastry along the way.

Anselma sees a group coming behind Grimmaz, Grimmaz hears a voice going; I hope that you're enjoying that Pastry. Grimmaz turns around, and confronts Gabrielle de Reis.

Grimmaz leans in towards Eleia and tells her that the group is going to the tower.

Eleia follows while staying hidden. One person hands something to someone from under a cloak. Eleia comes up to the persons and asks if Klaus is with them. Eleia walks up to one of the guards and asks if Klaus is with them. Eleia acting all innocent, if he's not with you I'll leave. After some time it seems that the package that Reolus lost got delivered to Gabrielle de Reis. Gabrielle opens the package and only finds sand in the package. Being angry she warns that Klaus & Miss Gold might not be believable/trustworthy.

Eleia saw a man speaking to that woman, he pulled out some type of package, when I got closer I heard them talking a bit. The woman ripped it open to show nothing but sand in the package and she was very upset that they had the wrong package. It was supposed to be delivered and they better figure out and hear some news soon.

Grimmaz relays that de Reis had the package (to Reolus) they seem to know that it's a fake.

Eleia suggests going back home to open the box as de Reis didn't need any protection to open it. So it should be safe.

Reolus asks Amon how the box was stolen, Seems like a kid with a small scar with the shape of a dagger on his wrist with a U shape on top seems to be part of it.

Emon wonders why he thinks of gold when looking at Eleia.
Also wonders about shaving while looking at Reolus
Sees dangers in Anselma's world.
Sees a smalish hairy humanoid with a blade, and a woman who lives in a faraway city in Grimmaz's reflection.
